The students and teachers of NAFL North celebrated the 73rd Republic Day with a virtual assembly. Students showcased India’s rich cultural and historical heritage through a plethora of activities including dances, music, drama and art-work. In a rousing speech, the school’s Vice Principal, Ms. Hemalata Pillai, invited students to shoulder the responsibilities of building a strong nation. This was followed by a rendition of the song ‘Mile Sur Tumhara’ in multiple Indian languages, to promote national integration. The event concluded with Paresh Mohapatra of grade six playing a piano cover of the national anthem.
