STEM Gems, a STEM Lab presentation for parents was organised on Friday, 23rd December’22 at NAFL-North.

The students of Grades 7 & 8 displayed their innovative and skilful projects based on the concepts of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. The event was graced by Ms. Josheta Hari, the Associate Director of NPS Group of Schools. The programme started with an interactive session with parents’ who shared their experience of school days and took active part in various interactive quizzes.

The electrifying robotic dance and a knocking STEM rap was performed by the students of Grade 6. Pranav from Gade 7 and Arunim from Grade 8 shared their experience of STEM learning during this academic year. Mr. Prakash Mohapatra, the STEM expert associated with NITI Aayog, shared few interesting facts and the future of STEM in the days to come for our students. Parents and guests were then led to the Experience Centre to witness the live demonstration and hands on experience with some creative research based projects emphasizing on the application of STEM knowledge to real-life situations. Models of a Smart City, RFID, mini Basketball Court, Railway Gate and Hologram 3D Movie, Elai the Robot, were some of the attractions of the STEM Gems. All the projects were well appreciated by the parents and guests.
