Grade 1 Assemblies

The students of Grade 1 had a special assemblies on various occasions such as Makar Sankranti and Republic Day.

During the Sankranti assembly the students presented different dance forms of India, Tamilnadu (Pongal), Assam (Bihu) and Punjab (Lohri) and also spoke about their importance.

They wore traditional clothes for this occasion and sang melodious harvest songs. The significance of the harvest festival across India was shared in the assembly.

The Republic Day assembly began with the thought for the day followed by a glimpse into the history of our constitution. Students performed a skit on the main objectives of our constitution followed by a delightful dance performance depicting India’s rich culture. They also sang a song which ignited the feeling of patriotism in the students. A lively and interactive quiz kept the audience motivated to give the right answers.

Both assemblies concluded with a vote of thanks and a feeling of belongingness among the students and staff.
