The spirit of Independence

"Freedom is not merely the absence of restraints; it's the power to determine for ourselves how to live our lives in harmony with others."

National Academy for Learning North celebrated the 77th Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotism. The school's premises w as adorned in the national colours, echoing the spirit of unity and pride among the students and staff alike.

The day began with a solemn flag hoisting ceremony. The national flag, a symbol of our country's struggle and triumph, was unfurled by the Principal Ms. Hemalata Pillai, accompanied by the singing of the national anthem. The sight of the flag fluttering against the clear sky was a poignant reminder of the sacrifices made by our forefathers for our freedom.

Following the flag hoisting, the school ground was filled with excitement as the students of grades 4, 9 and 11 presented a vibrant cultural program me that showcased the diversity and unity of our nation. The performances included patriotic songs, dances, skits and speeches, all highlighting the rich tapestry of India's heritage. The celebrations came to an end with a renewed sense of national pride and a commitment to uphold the principles that our nation stands for.
